As a ten-year-old 4th grade student, Cimaglia taught himself the fine art of video editing along with how to use an 8 millimeter tape camera and his future career was born. As a fifth grader, he introduced computer video technology to his fellow grade school students and the school’s staff, incorporating the use of graphics and Apple computer technology into his video production class. As a college student, he founded Cimaglia Productions, to date his largest, longest-lasting, and most engrossing commercial enterprise.
Between its humble beginnings and its current industry stature, Cimaglia Productions has been matured from a start-up into a passion project and back into a rapidly growing firm. When Matt was working for NBC Dateline as a jet-setting editor, producer, and writer, Cimaglia Productions was put on the back burner while he worked on long-form series and breaking news. As Matthew grew up, and began looking for a place to put down roots, Cimaglia Productions came back into the foreground of his life.
Now operating out of the John Hancock Center in the heart of Chicago’s gold coast, Cimaglia Productions is a full-service production company, having provided client-centric services for over ten years in the digital video industry.
